  Slums are called armpits of the country. Slums are the locations within the cities which are home to thousands of daily wage laborers, construction workers, migrant workers and to the people belong to marginal a part of the society. Slums pose an excellent problems to the urban regions -Slum areas are at risk of floods in time of year and might become source to communicable diseases. -Slums are hub to criminals, rowdy sheeters . They pose problems to the safety and build law and order problem. -Due to lack of excellent schools and necessary infrastructure for education. Education standards for the kids in slum is low. There is increase in tendency that these people become victims to illegal activities like terrorism, mafia. -The condition of the slums within the country also ends up in decrease in human development index of the country. -Due to unregulated development of living conditions it's difficult to control the slum areas. -Lack of transportation and power facilities alien
